    Fellow Nomination Form

    Nominations are now open for the Fellows (FEI) category in the Engagement Institute's Professional Recognition Program.

    Fellowship honours long-standing members who have made a distinguished contribution to both the Engagement Institute and the community and stakeholder engagement profession.

    This category is open to either self-nomination or peer nomination.

    Some points to note about this application and assessment process:

    • If awarded a FEI, renewal is required every three years.
    • The application requires evidence of the nominee’s knowledge and expertise as an engagement / P2 professional; provision of at least three written references / testimonials in support of the application, who may be asked to attest to the achievements on which the nomination is based; and a professional statement of practice.
    • Applications will then be checked for completeness by Engagement Institute staff before being assessed by a panel and reviewed by the Engagement Institute Board.
    • Outcomes will be confirmed in writing.

    Outline why the nominee satisfies the Fellow (FEI) criteria by addressing each of the following (maximum 1,000 words):

    a. How the nominee has demonstrated eminence in the field of stakeholder and community engagement. (Provide examples of leadership, innovation, influence, achievements or recognition that demonstrate their standing within the profession).

    b. How the nominee has provided distinguished service to the Engagement Institute. (Include examples of their contribution through leadership, volunteering, governance, committees, working groups, mentoring, events, training, advocacy, thought leadership or other activities that have advanced the Institute and its members).

    c. How the nominee has made a significant contribution to advancing the stakeholder and community engagement profession. (Provide examples of how they have influenced practice, built capability, shared knowledge, mentored others, contributed to research, developed resources, or otherwise strengthened the profession).

  • Please note: This application cannot be reviewed until all three references have been submitted.  

    Please provide three written references / testimonials in support of this application. These must be supplied by individuals who meet the following criteria:

    • Are current financial members of the Engagement Institute (any membership category except student)
    • Have held continuous membership for a minimum of five (5) years
    • Have held or currently hold a senior-level role within the stakeholder and community engagement profession (e.g. director, principal, senior advisor, practice lead)
    • Can speak directly to the nominee's leadership in the engagement field and their demonstrated service to the profession.
